The lesser spotted eagle (Clanga pomarina)

It is a species of medium to large size eagle. Males and females have similar plumage, relatively uniform brown in color, with darker flight feathers and tail.

In flight, you will spot two light crescents on each wing on the ventral side, and on the dorsal side there is a white band on the tail covers. The legs are yellow and the iris of the adults is yellow-brown. The juveniles have the tip of the covers of light-colored flight feathers, giving a motlled look to the plumage.

The body length is 55 - 65 cm, and the weight is 1300 - 2200 grams. The wingspan is between 143 and 168 cm.
