International Contemporary Arts (ICon Arts) is the story of an ambitious cultural project that turned into a complex, internationally renowned independent contemporary art phenomenon.ICon Arts is both an international art course (ICon Arts Academy) and a music and performance festival (ICon Arts Festival).Started in 2003, as a series of summer classes, and focused on contemporary music, ICon Arts Academy aims to encourage the exchange of experience between young performers and composers, artists, masters and all those shaping a new generation of artists. The 23rd edition of the ICon Arts Transylvania Academy and Festival will take place, as is tradition, at the end of July and in the first part of August, in three distinct periods.The master classes will take place in Biertan, Richiș, Copşa Mare, Moşna heritage villages, in Sibiu County and also in Braşov and Râşnov, Romania. Each master class is scheduled to develop during a 7 days program.

We venture on a short hike around Saschiz and listen to the sounds of nature. We discover the attributes of beauty in the colors that surround us. We creatively share the new experience.
Duration: 2 hours, 14:00 – 16:00
Age group: 7-18 years, but we also welcome adults who want to try the experience

The 6th edition of the "Mediaș Bike Marathon" is organized by the Mediaș City Hall, the "Dianthus" Tourism and Ecology Association, the "Mediaș 750 years" Association, in partnership with the Sibiu County Council.
Specifically, the "Mediaș Bike Marathon" is a cross country cycling competition that takes place in the northern area of Sibiu County, crossing both picturesque rural towns with fortified churches, such as Biertan, Richiș and Buzd, as well as shady forest areas from the heritage of the Natura 2000 Site, part of the routes being included in the already known Via Transilvanica.
The contest takes place along three routes of 25, 40, and 75 kilometers, respectively, that cover several localities in the Târnavelor region.
